Figures & Body Parts

Every custom starts with two decisions: whose face it wears and what body carries it. These are the foundation parts, and they are the most fun to source loose — which is exactly why we part them out. All 1/12 scale for 6-inch builds.

Head sculpts and bare bodies

Nude figures and head sculpts is where most custom work begins. A head sculpt establishes character; a bare articulated body gives you a foundation to dress from scratch. Buying these separately costs a fraction of buying complete figures to strip.

Dressed figures and donors

Dressed figures arrive already clothed — useful as finished figures, and equally useful as donors when you want the outfit more than the body.

Why kitbashers buy parts, not figures

There is always a character nobody made a figure of. That is the entire reason kitbashing exists, and it is why loose parts matter — the figure you want is usually a head from one release, a body from another and gear from a third. Buying three complete figures to build one is how most people start, and why most people stop. Loose parts remove that cost.

Working across 6-inch lines

1/12 parts are broadly compatible with the figures most collectors already own, but proportions vary between manufacturers — heights, neck posts and joint styles differ line to line. Before mixing brands, read our guide to whether parts will fit your figures.
