Load-bearing gear is the layer between an outfit and a weapon, and it is where a build stops looking like a dressed toy and starts looking equipped. Useful well beyond military subjects — tactical rigs turn up on operators, mercenaries, wasteland survivors and near-future troopers alike. All 1/12 scale.

Vests and rigs

Vests and body armor covers everything from plate carriers to assault vests. Web gear and web accessories handles harnesses, suspenders and load-bearing kit.

Pouches and belts

Belts and holsters handle the weapon-carrying side of a rig, and gear covers the pouches, packs, and webbing that make it look used rather than issued.

Field and utility equipment

Tools and backpacks are the ordinary objects that make a figure look like it exists between scenes rather than only during them.

Protection and restraints

Building a rig from loose parts

Gear like this is rarely sold separately — it arrives attached to a figure. Selling gear loose is what makes individual pouches and vests available at all, which is why this is the category where buying loose saves the most.
